Hisoka is just leaving the porch, clattering down the steps and onto the lawn. He spots Billy, and doesn't recognize his face. "Hello!" he greets him.

Billy's welcome to pick up Hisoka's magical signature, though it will be a peculiar one, since it's a mix of human and not human (shinigami), with a fiery tinge of reborn soul.

"Hello," Billy returns, and he can't resist sniffing curiously in Hisoka's direction. He smells a bit like magic and something else completely unfamiliar, and Billy finds it fascinating.

Hisoka smiles. This is the first time he's been sniffed as a greeting, and it seems in no way impolite, only curious in a very positive way. "My name's Hisoka Kurosaki," he says.

"You smell strange," Billy tells him, sniffing a couple more times.

If Billy wanders into the house at some point, Dean will be in his swiftly becoming customary position: foraging in the kitchen cabinets for food. Billy is welcome to join him at his leisure!

Food! Billy loves food. And he's starting to get hungry, so when he catches the scent of food, he follows it back to the kitchen and stands in the doorway, sniffing the air.

"I can smell food," he says.

Dean is currently shoulder-deep in a cabinet beside the Plothole, feeling around for anything familiar and also edible. When he hears a voice, he glances back over his shoulder somewhat guiltily, freezing where he is until he sees the stranger.

"Good job, kiddo - you found the food room," he replies with amused but mostly feigned enthusiasm, extracting himself and liberating a bag of chips with his hand. "Dibs on these, though." That was serious, even though he's still smirking.

Billy looks thoroughly pleased with himself. The thought of food is making him even more cheerful than usual. "Are you in charge of this kitchen? I would like something to eat," he says.

He might find a fellow canid shapeshifter, in dog-form, curled up on a couch in the library, reading a book. Turning the pages is a challenge, but he's found that using a drinking straw and sucking in gently helps to compensate for his lack of an opposable thumb.

Billy's been exploring the Mansion, and he's come across the library. He can't read, so it's not the most interesting thing to him, but he likes the smell of all the books.

When he catches Jacquel's scent, he follows it to where Jacquel is sitting. He smells interesting. A bit like Hisoka, maybe, but more doggish. And Billy's instantly curious when he sees him reading a book, because normal dogs can't read books.

"Hello," he says, friendly, and unable to help sounding a bit curious.

The dog looks up, friendly enough. "Hello there," he says, his voice deep, a man's voice in a relatively medium-sized dog. "Sorry if I didn't notice you sooner: I was rather wrapped up in reading."

"How are you able to read?" Billy asks him, curiously. "Most dogs don't know how."

Most dogs can't talk, either. Billy is fascinated.
