(open) I don't believe in the wasting of time
Lystra's been at the Mansion for just over a year now, and she's content here, even happy. It reminds her a little of when she left her home behind to fly south and marry Jehal. She's in a faraway, unfamiliar place, but it's new and exciting all the same. She does miss her home and her family at times, Jaslyn most of all, but right now that's been all but forgotten.
Her son, Tyan, is a year old now, and Lystra is having a celebration of sorts. She's spread a blanket out on the front lawn, because it's a nice enough day for it, and she's sitting there with Tyan and a few toys for him to play with. It' not much, really, but she's happy enough that she doesn't need anything more.
You should come and talk to her! She won't mind being interrupted. It would probably just make her even happier.
So! Tyan's first birthday was like a week ago, or ten days ago, or something like that, and I've been meaning to post her for daaays now and have finally gotten around to it. So it's a sort of late birthday post for Tyan, erm. HAVE AT.
