Speaking of beheaded fathers... here he is. Quite headed, in fact. Ned is on his way out to the godswood, predictably, and the moment he spots the familiar silhouette, he freezes.

It takes him a moment to find his voice, in fact. He was told she was alive, somewhere, with a courtier we won't name.

But still. Still.

This is his little girl.

".... Sansa?"

She doesn't dare believe it--this has to be a dream, and soon she'll wake up and have to deal with Joffrey's jeers and threats.

But she replies anyway, because she needs some semblance of hope in her life.

"--Father?"

"Aye," Ned replies, and he takes just one step, his eyes are so full of tears, we don't even.

"--- oh, girl. Come here."

He opens his arms for her.

Just by seeing the look on her face... he can guess.

She immediately just sort of--collapses into his arms, trying so hard not to cry.

"You're not--but--" She's so confused, but at the same time, she's not questioning things.

If she ventures onto the back porch later, she might come upon a tall young fellow with eyes that seem to mark him as a Tagaryen bastard, busy hanging several paper lanterns under the porch roof. But he sees her and pauses. "Oh, hello, I didn't see you there right away," he says. "Welcome to the Mansion!"

She looks at him, peering a little.

"Hello. What are you doing?"

"Ahh, I'm just hanging up some lanterns to add a little light color at night," he says. "I'm getting ready for a festival coming up, something we celebrate back home in Japan. I'm Asato Tsuzuki."

"That's nice," she says. "I'm Sansa Stark."

Here's a relatively familiar look: a dark-haired, extremely tall man (elf), dressed in a warrior's clothes, sharpening his sword.

He's sitting out by the weapons shed, and if Sansa comes to him from the left, she might notice that his face is very scarred - in the shape of a star.

Caranthir is gruff and rough, but he wouldn't hurt a young girl, we don't think. He might be a bit scary, though.

She's been out exploring the Mansion and its grounds, and so when she sees the strange man, she stops.

Sansa sees the scars, and doesn't say anything--yet.

She's a little nervous.

Elves have sharp ears, and Caranthir has heard her a long ways away.

He looks up to her, eyes aloof.

"Aye?"

"--I wasn't doing anything," she says, immediately protesting for apparently no reason at all.

She's still staring at the scars.

Up above, Sansa might notice a flash of white, like moving lightning. The difference is, though, that Falkor is singing, dancing, twirling up above. His song induces joy and hope, it's one of those things that one can't ignore, and even the harshest pains might be dampened, at least momentarily.

In his dance, he gets closer to the mansion's roof, at times, then barrels away, and back. He's just having fun.

He likes children - he'll notice the girl soon enough.

Sansa eventually finds her way outside again, because it seems so nice out, and when she hears the song, she looks around, confused.

"Who's singing?" she asks, not yet spotting Falkor. "It's a nice song."

Eventually, Falkor does woop down, visibly. He's getting ready to settle on the roof for a sun soak, but upon hearing the young voice, he calls down.

"Well, hello there."

Sansa starts a little at the sight of the strange creature, but doesn't move. Her curiosity has overwhelmed her fear.

"Hello. What are you?"

Because trolling Sansa is going to be so much fun... the typist just couldn't resist.

Ines is out in the kitchen, brewing extremely strong coffee, a smoke at the corner of her lips. Her clothes will probably look very odd to Sansa, if not downright indecent: she's got a skirt that shows her legs, cut just below the knee.

She's in a good mood today! She's even humming an Boris Vian song under her breath.

I'm going to go over my traditional 3 pups, even though I'm on hiatus, since we barely have any threads together atm :P

Sansa makes her way to the kitchen, because exploring this place is sort of fun.

When she sees Ines, she peers at her a moment before speaking.

"I can see your legs."

Hm.

Ines exhales a long plume of smoke, eyes Sansa up and down, assessing her.

"Oui, and?" is her reply.

She doth not care.

"It's not proper," she explains, as if talking to a child.
