Really, it was just a teleportation spell and it wasn't like he hadn't done it a million (okay, not a million, but a bunch) of times before. Just picture what you want in your head and do it. Everyone was tired from the fight and it wasn't like he had much to complain about. He was just as dirty and bruised and bloody as the rest of the team and he was also the only one that could get them all out of the middle of freaking nowhere Nebraska back to something more like civilization.
Less empty fields at least and more beds.
"Okay," he called. "Ready?" There were mumbles and nods of assent and the group huddled up. Speed had gone ahead (because "you take way too long. I'll be sleeping by the time you start your magic mumbo-jumbo crap" then he'd left before Hulkling could swat him upside the head), so it was just the six of them. He could do this.

When the blue light faded from behind his eyes, Billy risked a look around. This ... wasn't the city. He wasn't in that stupid field anymore, but ... this definitely wasn't the city.
"Guys?" Where was everybody? "Hello?" Maybe he'd messed up? Oh man. Teddy was going to kill him and here he was, not a clue as to where and totally drained in a strange place with what looked like some super creepy house a mile or so away.
"Just ... great."
