In comes our Thespian Lawyer, extremely curious about a role.

"Hello, Mr. Bergerac?"

Cyrano looks up, intrigued. "Monsieur?"

It's a good thing that Phoenix came to him. That alone is a good start.

"I saw the ad in the main room. Are you still looking for male actors?"

It's been a while since Feenie's been on stage.

"I am," Cyrano replies. "Four males, four females, and a few extras for guards. Were you interested in participating?"

I've been thinking that Cyrano might post results to the board when threads are over here, we might make it a mingler? What do you think? Would that work for you?

Hey Duelist Dad! Your pink haired girl is here to sign up as a stage hand.

"Cyrano, I didn't know you directed plays..."

"But I do," Cyrano replies. He winks at Utena, smiling. "It is my main excuse to remain out of sight, since a play must be written, before it is directed."

Utena smiles, pleased that he is so talented.

"And what play are you writing?"

"Directing, my sweet girl," Cyrano replies. "The writing is all but done with. Do you know of the fall of Rome, pray tell?"

"Oh!" Bridget likes plays and he's always wanted to perform in one. Looking over the sheet, he wonders how he could perhaps try out and where he can find the director.

At the least, perhaps he can help out?

After a while, Cyrano stretches, stands, wanders over. "May I help you, Mademoiselle?"

He probably sounds a little bit like Angelique - at least as far as the accent goes.

Bridget turns to look up at Cyrano and brightens considerably. "Oh! Are you the director?" He knows you! That means he won't at least have to explain himself or anything.

Cyrano blinks, then grins - oh, yes, the cross-dressing bounty hunter. Of course.

"Mais oui," he replies, "that would be me. Are you as well interested in theater, Monsieur Bridget."

We'll assume he was just focused on his writing for a minute there, hm?

Typist is a dweeb and had momentarily forgotten that awesome thread. So sorry. >.

There's a large suit of armor reading over the papers, curious about this whole thing.

He wouldn't want to perform at all, the thought doesn't even enter his head, though he wouldn't mind lending a hand. Perhaps his alchemy could be put to good use?

If the subject of the play were the middle ages, Alphonse would have been recruited immediately as a guard, minimally! As it is, though, Cyrano is mostly drawn to him because of his size.

He clears his throat, to indicate his presence, but doesn't leave his desk. He can be a bit of a diva, sometimes.

With a clunk,Alphonse jumps a bit and turns to face the man behind the desk. "Oh, I'm sorry. I... um..." He moves a bit away from the paper, thinking that perhaps he's in the way or something.

"Sorry."

-- "Were you looking for the playwright, Monsieur?" Cyrano stands, probably only because of Alphonse's height.

There's a violet-eyed young man in black and silver garments, who carries himself with a more or less regal bearing, who's studying the list of dramatis personae.

Titus has been restless since Christmas, and he's looking for something, anything, to do. And since he's pretty much making public appearances since he was about a year old, he has virtually no stage fright. And this time, he'd be choosing to make this public appearance.

Cyrano is writing nearby - he might easily be spotted for a court poet, considering the similarity between a 17th century French doublet and the general look of the poets of Gormenghast.

Scritch scritch, says the quill, finishing a sonnet.

The sight of the man brings a bit of a pang, partly of painful recall, partly something akin to homesickness. He's trying to remember the name of the Poet, but that's beside the point. He turns and approaches Cyrano's desk.

"Master Cyrano?" he asks. "Is there a part in your play that would be suitable for a young man?"

Cyrano looks up, blinks. "-- Bonjour," he says, to start. "Any age can be played by any talented actor," he replies. "To whom do I owe the honor?"
