[Open] It's the season of possible miracle cures
It was Sophie who made Sugar notice that yes, indeed, Michaelmas had come and gone. In fact, Christmas is coming godspeed, and oh! nothing has been done to celebrate, and when you are a parent, you should celebrate, and and and!
That's why, on impulse without consulting her co-parent, or anyone, for that matter, Sugar bundled up, made her way to the forest, and managed to chop down a pine which she is now dragging back in the snow with much huffing and puffing.
Whatever made her think this was a good idea, she wants to know.
Inside, in the common room, Sophie is methodically organizing ornaments from last year and making some new, paper garlands and shiny tassels, paper snowflakes, and long, long, long necklaces made with puffed up corn and macaroni.
Of course, they wouldn't make a tree just for their nuclear family. That would be silly, Sophie insists (and Sugar agrees).
Sophie has another ~project~ for New Year's, but that, she insists, is ~sekkrit~ and not even Mum and Dad know about it.

- The first person to state so gets to help Sugar haul the tree back inside OR

- Help Sophie with her arts and craft project while mama is outside getting the tree and fending the elements OR
