[Open Post] Hangin' With a Nun

Sep 13, 2010 11:51

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us... Sorry God, but does it involve having your arm mangled by a crazy bitch and being humiliated? Cause that's pretty hard to forgive.

Eda takes a deep breath and opens her eyes, she now knows another reason why she is an atheist. She believes in revenge, whole heartedly. ( Read more... )

Would Eda like to see a doctor to help with that arm? Because one has just stepped inside, fresh-faced in appearance, though he is growing steadily more agitated. He needs to kill. He needs to kill soon, and though he has control over it, it's nonetheless...unpleasant.

In the meantime, however, he looks over at Eda and his sympathetic, worried frown is spot on.

"What's your trouble?" With a nod at the bandage.

I have SO much fun when Brian is tagging...XD nuns4money September 15 2010, 14:47:31 UTC
Sure, just don't try and take it off, Meta!Eda says. She can, and will kill someone with only one working arm if given no other choice. Best believe it.

Eda blows a bubble and it pops. "Hmmm." This guy is pretty, even handsome. "Oh it's nothin', got stabbed by some maniac in the hallway. Almost got molested too."

Eda is not mentioning just who that maniac is. Why? The typist feels Brian should find out for himself. ...Or maybe not. Besides, Eda barely knows him.

Oh, he wouldn't even think of it. He doesn't want to build on someone else's work. Just make his own. His eyebrows shoot up at her description, though. "--did you? Jesus. I didn't think - a maniac, really? Who was this?"

His concern and worry are perfectly played, now both for himself and for her as he comes a bit closer, and adds, after a well timed hesitation, "I could re-wrap that if you want, check it over - I am - well, was, I suppose, a doctor."

Meta!Eda says don't do that shit either.

"I don't know, I didn't catch that persons face."

It's a lie. Is Brian really going to believe that a tiny five-foot-one Southern Belle did this? Seriously, this is embarrassing for Eda. (Typist also wants to keep this a mystery to him on purpose. There's a chance that Aramat did this on purpose too. Come out, come out, where ever you are. <3)

Eda thinks for a while. He is kinda cute. "Sure. Whats ya name?"

Oh, he says, he won't.

(Lie.) "Really? I'd say that with the angle I'm guessing the stabbing motion too, it came from forward, not the side of behind...but all right." He smiles at her, a little, as though he understands. Perhaps she's just embarrassed at being beaten. He can pretend to sympathize.

"Rudy Cooper. Pleased to meet you, Miss..." and he comes over, typist willing already starting to deftly undo the poorly wrapped bandage.

If Aramat were here, she'd give Brian a pleased grin. (She loves it when he gets perceptive. There the typist goes with that theory again...)

The combat Barbie smiles back. He's a cutie, and he's just her type... mild-mannered and modest. Still, his eyes are really weird... they are even emptier than Aramat's. How is that possible? It's best not to assume things, so no suspicion... or flirting. Just be professional, just be a patient.

"It was dark as fuck, Doctor. I couldn't see a goddamn thing." (Another lie.) She saw everything.

Eda pushes up her glasses and lets Brian undo the bandages. "Eda. Pleased to meet ya too." He might see a rather large hole in her shoulder. (Where Aramat stuck Eda's own gun in.) Further down he might see a modest stab wound at her elbow, it hurts like hell to try to move it. The attacker wanted to make sure that Eda would not use her most deadly skill for a while, even after her gun gets fixed.

Aww, but he likes flirting. It's fun, even for him. "Just Rudy, please," he says, slowly unwrapping the bandages, his touch light and professional. For the moment. "I'm sure you know to hold still. I'll probably have to get a few things - peroxide..." He unwraps the last of the bandages and whistles. Someone knew what they were doing and it was...brutal.

"Well. Appears that someone was deliberately disabling your arm, not so deep that you'd bleed out - that takes some skill, I'd say. Interesting what wounds say about an attack," he says, almost idly, and his fingers brush over the stab wound at her elbow.

Just checking the wound for heat or swelling, he'd say if asked. In fact, it just...reminds him of what he needs.

Eda grins at him a bit, it's sort of flirtatious. She can't help it, he's adorable. "Rudy it is then, I haven't met a doc that is so friendly..." Eda is rather lucky that Brian didn't catch her in her usual off-work garb, which is better suited for a stripper or a hooker instead of a C.I.A. agent posing as a nun and weapon runner.

She finds that statement strangely creepy though. Are you giving that crazy bitch compliments? Never mind, he's a Doctor. He knows what he's saying.

She flinches a bit at that touch. It hurts like hell. "Be gentle Rudy... this hurts like shit."

He pulls his fingers away quickly. "I'm sorry. I didn't realize...how did you treat it, thus far?" And he smiles a little too, that small and slightly awkward one. "I'm happy to be the exception, then."

Eda is rather lucky. He would just be even more interested than he is now. After all, while he doesn't take others' seconds...this one got away before. That makes her a challenge, potentially. And therefore intriguing.

Meta!Aramat is grinning like a fucking shark right now. Typists theory was right after all. Damaged Combat Barbie was for Brian. (She wants to see what he does best...) The question is, what is he going to do with the Barbie?

"Peroxide, pain killers, and booze." Eda was never an expert in the matters of health. There goes that cute little smile. He kinda looks like a little lost puppy... Don't flirt with him, Eda. Chances are he has a girlfriend...

Eda escaped, but only by beating the ever-loving shit out of Aramat's face. (Makeup hides many things.) Still, she will kill someone with only one arm. Thats a warning Brian.

For now? Nothing. Much as he would like to, he has a cover to keep, this place is too open, people could come by any minute - the set-up isn't right, he needs more preparation. He shakes his head, barely.

"Peroxide is good. As for the rest of it, though...you should have some stitches on both of these, particularly your shoulder. And you really shouldn't mix pain killers with booze. Bad combination."

He stands up. "You stay right here," he tells her, just a bit sternly, his eyes bright and curiously...alive, actually. "I'll be right back with a few necessities. All right?"

"Heh, numbs the pain."

Eda notes those eyes. Eda may be reckless and careless at times, but she can be perceptive too. (Why do you think she was a C.I.A.?) What the fuck is going on? Can the typist ask why his eyes are that way? Does he know that Eda is a 'gift' already?

She still waits, theres no use in being suspicious. Just a strange (and cute) Doctor.

"Yes, and it's dangerous."

Oh, just because she is bleeding and he's antsy and is on alert now. And he does enjoy this work, to some degree, and is interested in her - it brightens his gaze, puts a spark in his eyes. "Don't move," he says with a slight (awkward) smile, and then turns for the stairs to go up to his room.

He found the small kit in the closet, and it's a good one. Just in case he gets wounded, mostly. Brian's been tending his own rare wounds for years, after all.

He'll return shortly with the small case under his arm and kneel down in front of the couch, offering her a roll of gauze. "Take this," and a squishy ball, "And this, with your right hand." Assuming that the right arm is the wounded one.

Eda and The Typist agree that light in his eyes is damn creepy. "Heh, you ever run into a person that likes to live that way?"

She doesn't. He's rather adorable and endearing in a way, if he was single, she would ask him out for a beer. However... There's something about him... something odd, something is not right. She shakes her head. Shit. I'm getting paranoid, damn Scarlet.

As soon as he comes back, she smiles at him. "A man that doesn't waste time... I can appricate that, Rudy." She's obviously flirting now. (And Meta!Aramat is facepalming now. XD) She squeezes the ball. (At least Aramat was merciful and gave her use of her hand and wrist. She could have messed that up too.)

"Fucking bitch shit, this hurts." Eda utters with clenched teeth.

All his mannerisms are so perfect, though, so designed to reassure, that it'd be easy to dismiss it as a trick of the light playing off large pupils, or something of the like. "A few," he says, with a faint smile. "In those cases, it's usually the reason they come to me with arms or feet missing. Consider that."

Her flirting is received with a gentle eyebrow and one of those slight, awkward (ly adorable) smiles as he pulls out the thread and a needle and starts threading it. "I'm glad you do. Sooner finished the less you have to think about it, I have to think?"

He nods approvingly. "I know. It'll help me, though."

Meta!Aramat headdesks at the stupidity of this woman. But of course Brian's counting on that. nuns4money September 23 2010, 00:38:48 UTC
Eda considers it that. Because unlike Aramat, she can't see through the too perfect mannerisms. Luckily, she knows how to defend herself. "Now, now, now Rudy. I think I'm careful enough. I survived this attack. Hey, what kind of Doc are ya?"

Ooooh, thats cute. (And kinda hot.) Eda pulls her glasses down and gives a peek of those glowing blue eyes with a smile dripping with flirtation. "Hell yeah. You know Rudy... I have my ways of thanking cute guys. Don't make make me thankful now."

She bites her lip in preparation for what will happen. "Ok. Ready when you are."
