(typist hopes she can take a friendly Moroi) iwalkindreams June 15 2010, 19:43:48 UTC
When Adrian walks in the library, his senses become suddenly aware of a strange presence. He's used to the room being more or less populated, so he doesn't really react, till he notices the unfamiliar girl, looking slightly disoriented. He clears his throat, not willing to startle her.

"Hello?" he says tentatively.

"Hello. Just who are you?"

Misa Amane... blunt.

"Charming," Adrian comments, amused. "Yet legit. I'm Adrian -- and I have no damn clue who are you."

"Misa... Misa Amane."

Should Misa feel better and should she come to the kitchen, she'll find a pale blond lady there, preparing a light meal. She's the right person to talk to if it's comfort she's looking.

Misa could care less about comfort. It's Light she's looking for. But she is hungry. She walks over to the kitchen, and finds her. "Why hello there!"

"Well met, my lady," says Isolde, albeit slightly startled. "Would you like to have a bite of food, mayhap?"

At some point, perhaps walking in a hallway, she may meet a tall, slim young man with mussed brown hair and violet eyes that look at her with a mix of compassion and friendliness. "Hey there, did you just get here, miss? I can't say I've seen you before here," he says, friendly and welcoming.

Tsuzuki sensed her nature almost before he spotted the new girl, and though he can sense a certain kinship in her -- he can't tell the particulars, but people who have suicided always have a certain resonance for him -- he keeps this to himself, till she's ready to open up about it.

His weird-looking cousin should be along shortly...

While looking high and low for Light, she'll bump into the man along the hallway. "I'm sorry!" She'll exclaim.

He almost stumbles over backwards when she bumps into him. "Whoops! Quite all right! No harm done, trust me!" He gets a better look at her and his usual young guy awkward fondness of pretty girls kicks in. "You okay? I hope I didn't ruffle your dress; that's... that's quite an outfit you have."

What pretty eyes, I could never pull of purple contacts like that. "You like my dress? Thank you! I got it at one of favorite shops in Harajuku. I've had this dress for ages actually..."

Should Misa be wandering later, she may find Jaenelle sprawled on a couch, tapping her foot and humming under her breath. But she looks up with interest and a smile when she hears someone enter, taking in Misa's clothes and her face and the sense that she gets from her.

And sits up, a little more. "Oh, hello!" She says, pleasantly. "I think you must be new, but there are so many more people here now..."

Misa already likes this girl, she can tell it. "I am! But what do you mean about that?"

She sits up a little more, swinging her legs off the side of the couch and vanishing her book. "By - which, new? Well - people arrive here, sometimes - new people. They usually don't expect to be here - you don't look as surprised as they usually do, though."

"Well, I sort of meant to come here on purpose..."

Light can be found (surprise surprise) in the library.

Not reading, at the moment, though, even if a book on vampires is open in front of him. On the contrary, resting his head on his hand, eyes closed, and wishing he didn't feel like banging it repeatedly into a table in the hopes that that would chase away his headache. This is not the way things are supposed to be.

And he's lost, it seems, his chance at having something to do as well. Powerfully irritated and powerfully in pain, the Light Misa knows is slightly disheveled, a little cranky looking, but definitely alive. Very, very much so.

Misa briefly passes by the library. A library? Ok, I guess. Wait... Shes stops dead in the middle of hallway and spots Light. My eyes... are they playing tricks on me? She walks into the library, for a while, time stops for Misa.

Light is still utterly unaware of her presence, and finally lowers his hand, half-heartedly scribbling something and turning a few pages in the book, not really focusing at all. Clearly distracted, then: usually his awareness is better, but...

He catches himself wondering idly where he would be if not here, and shakes that thought off quickly. Unpleasantly stalled is not a good place to be, he thinks, and closes his eyes, leaning his head backward over the edge of the chair he's sitting in.

As soon as her world goes back to normal, she yells out with all of the sonic energy she can muster, "LIGHT!"
