She had been warned her lord -- her love(r) -- would visit the, well, dragon, to perhaps test the ground for a further meeting between the two of them. She knew about it; she agreed with it.

She'd ask Tristan for a shelter to share only with him, and then he brought up Iskierka and his wish to have her close -- Isolde consented to meet her first. And then -- she heard the turmoil, noticed the distant flames, and her heart skipped many beats while her face paled more.

And now she's running out of the Mansion, a shawl hanging in disarray over her fragile shoulders, tripping, kneeling without any grace by his side --

"--- my lord. TRISTAN. Are you hurt???"

"Hush, hush, my lady," he replies, bravely, trying to be soothing despite the pain. "It's only my shoulder, and nothing compared to what you once knew...."

He looks up at Iskierka - he's most likely leaning against her. "Iskierka, this is my lady Isolde, pray be kind to her, she has my heart."

Hold on for Iski. &hearts And am about to resume tagging.

Iskierka, on the other hand, is already hissing a little, expression turning from smug to...disgruntled. "Who is this?" She asks Tristan sharply, and then swivels her head to Isolde. "Who are you? What are you doing with my champion?"

It's an almost automatic reaction, we are sorry to both of them. >>

Nghhh she'd tell you a couple of things if she weren't well-educated, typist guesses by the deep frown on her face. Luckily her focus is entirely on Tristan, taking his wrist between shaking fingers to feel his pulse -- typist willing -- and searching his darling face for signs of injury. "Show me," she tells him urgently. "Show me where it hurts, I have to see what sort of wound it is."

In her despair she's ignoring the dragon, which might be a bad choice -- but she's not really thinking straight. She might yet be quiiite startled when Iskierka actually starts talking to her.

Asato knows pride when he sees it and while he ... doesn't know anything about dragons, he also doesn't know a dragon is something that is supposed to be feared.

So he'll wander right on up and bow his head a bit (seems appropriate when the other party is big enough to eat you). He does know Tristian for human though.

"Did something happen?" He's very curious.

I kind of want to toss Iggy in, though I'd rather he not be eaten by the good Lady there...?

"Aye," Tristan replies, and he nods politely, keeping close to Iskierka, but this one seems... inoffensive, if odd. Then again, when your heart is torn between a dragon and a magician, your weirdo-meter is a bit skewed.

"A great evil has been vanquished by my good friend Iskierka," he replies. "I am Sir Tristan, of Cornwall, in the service of Isolde of Ireland."

And not of Mark, ha!

Can't speak for a puppet I don't mun, but Tris wouldn't look well on Iskierka nomming Iggy.... But Iski's typist is on the way. ^^

Iskierka snorts, and lowers her head a little to examine this stranger, but he doesn't appear to be dangerous, so she coughs a bit of steam and settles herself a little. "--I have," she agrees, proudly, and glances at Tristan, obviously flattered and pleased. "And Tristan - he is my champion. He helped."

She's so generous.

OOC: Iggy can come right along! She's a little possessive of Tristan, but does not plan to nom anyone. Actually rather easygoing. Mostly.

"Oh, I'm very impressed," he says and he means it. He glanced at Tristan as well. "What is a champion?"

Sorry for the delays! I'm getting back though so expect an Iggy soon!

Tsuzuki is no stranger to dragons: he commands no less than Sohryuu, the Blue Dragon of the East as well as Sohryuu's daughter and son, Tenko and Kijin. But he's almost stunned when he comes out onto the lawn, intending to quiddle with the pond, and finds a large, scarlet and purple dragon there. He stops in his tracks and clasping his hands before him, bows deeply to her. "I hope I didn't disturb you, Lady Dragon [O-Ryu-sama]," he says. Then spying Tristan, he quickly adds, "Whoa -- Sir Tristan, what happened to you?"

Tristan smiles, and stands to give Tsuzuki a polite nod (he would bow, but his shoulder is broken, though it's been tended to as much as it could be).

"Nothing that doth not happen to a knight, Sir Tsuzuki," he replies. "This is my good friend Iskierka, who has my trust and affection."

Hold on for ye dragony steed.

Iskierka is...quite pleased. Finally, someone who knows how to speak to a dragon! She draws her head up, instantly proud and - at least attempting to be regal. "You did not disturb me," she says, and tries not to huff adding, "It is pleasing to see that someone here has manners."

"I am accustomed to dragons and I have nothing but respect for them, their wisdom and their power," he says, with another bow, deeper than before. "They aren't as common in my homeland as they once were in the olden days, but I have found and serve alongside of a Blue Dragon and two of his children. I'm Asato Tsuzuki and it would be an honor to make your acquaintance, Lady Iskierka."

To Tristan he adds, "Do I want to know what went on out there? I have a feeling there's quite a story behind this..."

If Maedhros is paying attention, he might notice a man, bandaged but in the gear of a warrior (a marchwarden, perhaps, or a ranger of sorts), leaning against the dragon.

Tristan, at any rate, does notice him, and stands, if tiredly. "Easy," he tells Iskierka. "This one will need to be reassured - I can tell it in his stance."

But already, he's waving at the elf with his good arm, his demeanor friendly and nonthreatening. His weapon is a bow - he's not bracing, though, and has left it at his back. He'd probably unsheathe his sword if necessary - it's the only weapon he can use, wounded as he is.

Sorry it took forever. S'been a busy few days. Hold on for Iski, aye?

Iskierka shifts a little to be more protectively around Tristan, eying the stranger - glaring at, really - with keen suspicion. "I will not if he doesn't," she says primly, "But I don't like the way that he is looking at me, and if he looks like doing anything to you I will be very upset."

It's still very soon after his traumatic anniversary but Armand will not hide forever. He's out surveying the bushes and plants, hoping for signs of sprouts. He halts, a bit surprised, to see the dragon and her people.

"Oh dear," he says faintly. But it's too late to pretend he hasn't seen her. Likely, she's seen him, too.

It's interesting that Tristan's never met this one - and he'll approach, waving politely, yes, stepping away from the dragon and towards the French man.

"It's nothing to fear," he calls. "My lady dragon shan't hurt you, messire!"

He looks up at Iskierka, though, for confirmation that she isn't going to make him a liar.

She takes a deep breath, looking rather sulky and irritated, but looks away. "Of course I won't," she says, though there is definitely a peevish note to her voice. "I won't do anything and I certainly won't hurt him, even if he did yell at me."

"She was trying to torch the building my child was in at the time," Armand explains. He's trying to pay polite attention the man in front of him, but the dragon is too worrisome.
