The Mansion may have heard, in the distance, the sounds of roaring, and flame, and fighting, and eventually the swooping of large wingbeats. Should any come out to investigate...
The dragon, is sitting resplendent on the front lawn, looking extraordinarily pleased with herself, large wings folded and...well, smug. If a dragon can be smug, this one certainly is. She has
just been very brave, and taken revenge on the one who lied to her, and in such a cruel way, too, making her think she would get her Granby back, and she won! It was a good little fight and even if Tristan got hurt they still won, and she's not even steaming too much, just sitting with her head held high and waiting for the adoring public to come and appreciate how good a dragon she is.
And of course if they try anything Tristan promised he would speak for her, and it is even better than fighting the French, she thinks, if not quite as good as taking ships, because she didn't get any capital, but that is all right. There will be capital later.
And maybe when people realize that she has saved them they will give her capital! And that would just be splendid. No, she corrects herself, famous.
Though she's not pleased, of course, that Tristan was hurt. Next time she will be more careful.
OOC: So! 30-foot-dragon and Arthurian knight on the lawn - Tristan is taken care of for everyone other than Isolde, and Iskierka is completely unscathed. Fresh off of soundly pwning Morgoth. People can tag in to talk to both dragon and champion. XD This is a prelude to the discussed plot, in which participation is entirely optional. And Iskierka says you get extra credit if you bring her gold. Set at night for Isolde, whose typist can assume that she knew that Tristan was going to visit the dragon wonder, flexible timeline for everyone else.
