They're fabulous, utterly fabulous, and both of them are being themselves. Justin is sprawled in a blue caftan, which he's made even more groovy with a blue wig to match and flawless make-up. His heels are hanging on his toes as he shakes one foot in the air, while the other is tucked under Belize. Perhaps because Justin is allowing himself more

Katniss walks in, then, after a patrol of the woods--she didn't go too far into them, fearing the wolves would catch her, but she likes to walk around. It reminds her of home, and Gale, and even Prim. It reminds her of better times.

She's feeling pretty content (the sunshine must have done her good!), and when she sees Belize, she grins, noting what Justin's wearing (the blue wig reminds her of the people in the Capitol, interestingly enough).

"Hello," she says to both of them, smiling still.

"Hey, it's my girl Katniss!" Belize replies in happy, excited greeting. "Come here and let me hug you - oh, babe," he tells Justin, "isn't she darling? She's my sweetheart, yes she is. Babe, you've met, haven't you?"

Tagging in while Shar is on hiatus, though feel free to tag back :-) I'd assume Belize has probably raved about both of them to the other. ^^

Katniss laughs a little, enjoying the attention for once.

"Hey," she says, reaching to hug Belize. "I'm darling?" She raises an eyebrow, amused. "I was not aware of that."

But she's still grinning, pleased.

"We haven't met," Justin smiles up at her. "But you've raved about her so I feel like we have." He looks at her, really looks at her, and his smiles brightens. "I must concur. You are darling. And I'm tickled pink to meet you."

[belize_queen]

"Baby, you're always tickled pink," Belize informs Justin with no small amount of amusement. Still, he hugs Katniss tight and might offer her a spot between Justin and him. If she's got stuff from outside on her, he's also going to start fussing.

"So what's my favorite girl been up to lately?"

She sits between them, gladly, not necessarily minding the fussing.

"I've been all right--just patrolling the grounds, doing some hunting if I can, and generally exploring," she says.

[justin_out]

Justin tilts his head, eyeing her. "It's not safe out there with the wolves. Do you have a weapon?" A pause. "I like to go running, but I stay close to the Mansion."

[belize_queen]

"Baby doll has a point," Belize agrees quietly. He'll not speak too much, though - agreeing with Justin is one thing, over crowding Katniss is really another.

[flamesque]

"I have a weapon--my bow," she points out.

She thinks she's faced worse, truthfully.

[justin_out]

"Keep it at the ready," Justin encourages her with a sweet smile. "You'll make us worry."

He's going to worry anyway because Belize obviously cares about this young woman, so he does too.

[belize_queen]

"Besides, you'll have to come back and tell us all your adventures," Belize teases. "Tell me, baby doll, what've you been up to lately?"

[flamesque]

"I patrol the grounds, sometimes--I don't get too deep into the woods," she explains, "because of the wolves. But I do like to hunt."

[justin_out]

"My father liked to hunt," Justin murmurs. They would argue over it when he was younger. He didn't want to go, but his grandfather was so pushy about it. "It's not one of my hobbies, but I'm glad you are able to continue it here." He's just so grateful that she's mindful of the wolves.

[belize_queen]

"You got friends to watch your back, right, sweetheart? And I want you coming to me if you have even the tiniest scratch."

Because Belize is protective like that.

[flamesque]

"I'll be fine--I usually am," she says, reassuringly.

[belize_queen]

"I know you are, baby-girl, I know you're smart," Belize says. "We love you lots, is all. Don't we, sweet pea?"
