[Introduction] This unrequited love/To me it's nothing but a one-man cult...

When he finally woke up from those awful things planted in his head, Oscar knew he could never go back. He should have died in that river, but he didn't.

He didn't. After dragging himself down to the level- no, even below those thieves and killers. At least they never had to lie in the face of the person they loved and owed their lives to everyday. The person that saved him from the pull of the gutter, and led him to a righteous path...

Of course, that's why they call it 'the pull'. While the bodies burn and the screams from those clones subside, he cries. He can never go back to the life he had, he can never put that pin on with his name below Zenigata's with a clear mind and heart ever again with the blood on his hands. For years it was his goal to get that pin, that rank, and his savior's approval.

And his love, hopeless as that really was.

He leaves the pin and walks away from the fire and wreckage he caused, not quite knowing where he will go...

As he walks, the scenery will change right in front of his eyes. He stops, immediately. Oscar remembers they experimented on him with Fraulein Eule, the most powerful psychosomatic hallucinogen on Earth. It could just be an illusion, like everything else was. He closes his eyes for a moment and opens them again...

It's the same.

Now he's just confused.
