(open) every man has to die
Agravain wakes up in the same place that he died: down by the lake, under a big fir tree. The situation feels eerily familiar. It's not the first time he's died and woken up in the Mansion grounds, though this time he's not covered in his own blood. In fact, he's strangely clean for someone who was shot seven times and then buried underground for months.
He knows that he must have died. His memories of being shot are too vague for there to be any other explanation. He remembers a brief moment of pain and then nothing. He knows there's no other way he could have ended up lying in the exact same spot, with his injuries mysteriously healed and all his blood cleaned away. He takes a deep breath, to check that it won't hurt. It doesn't. Lying and staring up at the sky is surreal and strangely relaxing, and it's not until he gets up that he starts to feel angry.
He quickly scans the area, looking for his sword. He doesn't expect it to be there, and it isn't. He heads towards the house at a brisk pace, hastened by his anger, thinking partly of Medraut (he has a dreadful feeling that his death will have driven his brother insane), but mostly of revenge and murder. He looks furious, and given that he's a large, strong man, (certainly capable of hurting someone, even without his sword), he may well look dangerous, too. He's actually not likely to hurt anyone -- he has too many things on his mind to start taking his fury out on random innocents. The look on his face could still be frightening, though.
((So, he's back, finally. I actually did not mean for him to be dead for this long but my life kept eating me :( And I have missed playing this grumpy asshole.
First person to tag in gets to meet him when he's returning to the Mansion. He's going to be reeallly cranky in the first thread (but as it says in the post, he's not going to hurt anyone), possibly in later threads, too (he's kind of unpredictable so I'm not really sure). Have fun! :D))
