I watched it begin again [open post!]
Wendla has been, shall we say, a bit depressed about Zhane breaking up with her. She's been...ruminating, to say the least.
But spring is coming, and the days may be getting a little longer, and though it is still cool out, Wendla may be headed out, bundled up in a coat and scarf (with mittens too!), ready to face the world.
She steps out onto the porch, breathing in the brisk air, and smiles.
Maybe this is a new start--spring is, after all, a time for beginnings.
