The last twenty-four hours of his life have been one wild ride, ending with Riku on the beach in the Darkness. He didn't expect to leave. Not after being so lucky as to escape the darkness once, and not as hurt as is he after throwing himself in front of Sora. It doesn't matter, the rest of the universe is safe now. Sora may deserve better, but Riku is not Sora.
Then from out of the darkness, into the light, Riku is here, squinting at the sudden change. It's bright out here on the ... porch? This was not the dark beach he had fallen asleep on, not at all. It's far from the first time he's woken up somewhere new, and not once has it been a good sign. Instead of jumping up and risking making his injuries worse, he's looking around warily as well as trying to pick up on any dark scents. Or, perhaps, Sora's.
"Am I... alone?"
An empty mansion. Stranger things have happened.

Other relevant info: Riku's been taken right off the dark beach at the end of KH2, where he thought he had basically been given a death sentence again. He'll need some medical attention in the first thread. After that--well, we'll see.
