Things are good.
I just got my grades back from summer classes and even after missing a week and 1/2 I still got nothing under a B-...which really excites me on so many levels...the main one being I'M IN THE LPN NURSING PROGRAM starting in the fall!!!!
Some other exciting things in my life
-I'm an almost aunt (I know it sounds werid, but Pat's sister is pregnant and since we're not married and really have no plans to be in the near future...I'm an almost aunt) She's only a month or so along, but it's so exciting. I'm close enough to the family to feel the families excitiment...it's a rush. Jessi says the baby is only about the size of a grain of rice right now.
It's incredible...ya' know? To think we start out that small...then get to be real people. Tom and Jess will make such great parents. They have a large network of support and all that jazz...gosh it's going to be an amazing ride to take with them.
So I was just downstate in GH for a week. Saw those that I'm still close with and loved it. Caught up with a few old friends and got to spend a week with my family. I love them and miss then quite often.
Then I drove up to good ole' Onaway and am spending time here until Monday when I GET TO GO BACK TO WORK (exciting point #2). I haven't worked in 6 weeks b/c of my surgery.
So today Tom, Jessi, Pat, Vanessa, Caleb and I all went to the Cheboygan Fair and watched a demolition derby. It was a blast. Then we went on one ride which was fun (well...only Pat, Caleb and I did) and then we did about 3 rides to win stuffies. That was fun too. Pat won me a little teddy bear. I love it. I've never won or been given something thats been won from any one of those games before. haha...it was great.
Now it's storming and I think I'm gonna hit the hay.
I just wanted to write a post that was happy before I feel asleep.
