The Cute Type hanihunny April 6 2011, 12:41:05 UTC
Hunny is all dressed up in fantasy Arabian Nights style and he'll often be near the open door to greet guests and Hosts alike with a cheerful smile and a wave.

He hopes everybody has a good time.

Cobb had gone in search of a box of mechanical pencils, when he blundered into the room (He swears this place changes itself around, which is defeating his purpose in trying to make a floorplan...). Just in time to spot the notice.

"Host Club?" he asks, half out loud, half to himself. And the notion reminds of that maid cafe in Kyoto which Eames dragged him to one year on what would have been Cobb's tenth anniversary...

There may be a tugging at Cobb's jacket. Looking down he'll see Hunny all dressed up and grinning.

"Hello! Are you a client?"

Cobb looks from the sign to the little guy, then back again. "No, can't say that I am," he says. The kid doesn't look like he's much older than Phillippa. "Aren't you...a bit young for this?"

The Shy Intellectual Type in_summer_leaf April 6 2011, 16:21:26 UTC
Hisoka is having a bit of a struggle getting his intellectual persona interfaced with the Arabian Nights fantasy theme, but he does like a challenge.

In the end, he dons his "Hot Librarian" garb - a crisp white shirt over flannel trousers and softly polished loafers, topped with a casually-knotted black tie and a pair of "intellectual spectacles" - big, round, silver wire-rims, through which his large green eyes gleam intelligently. (And shyly!)

Then he puts a silver bangle on his wrist. It is formed in the shape of a snake that wraps several times around his slender, sinewy forearm. Emerald eyes gleam from its head, and a forked, ruby tongue darts from its mouth.

Then he stands near the door, quietly waiting to greet the guests and other Hosts.

Helen wasn't aware of this event - it's much closer to her style than the shenanigans down below, so she'll wander in and look curiously at the hosts, but when she spots Hisoka (a familiar face! this is nice!) She grins a bit wider.

"Good afternoon," she says, smiling. "I see you've found a project to busy yourself with."

Hope that's alright? Will be slow, but. Will exist, I promise. ^^

"I have," Hisoka replies, returning the smile, "and how are you, Ms. Curtis?"

Of course it's all right. XD And thanks.

"I'm well, Hisoka," she replies, and she's smiling because she does enjoy the young man's company. She's also slightly amused by his attire, though it's all good-natured.

(We reckon that if he knew of her connection to Muraki, it may change, perhaps, though she is unknowledgeable of his Paleness's less savory proclivities.)

"Might I ask you what is -- happening here?"

The Mysterious Nobleman 77th_earl April 7 2011, 01:14:22 UTC
Said Mysterious Nobleman has dug a cream-colored silk frock coat with a mandarin collar from the back of his closet, and is now seated on a heap of floor pillows, reading a red leather-bound edition of "The Rubyiat of Omar Khayyam". He's hoping to resemble a visiting dignitary from some place called Europe, but that name is just as exotic to him as Arabia would be to a European

Brienne has no idea what's going on - this whole thing is so out of her scheme of reference, we don't even.

But she'll be about, looking a bit shyly at everything and everyone that's there, scuffing her foot uncomfortably, and looking like she's absolutely unsure what to do, or if she should even be there.

So, typist is still on hiatus-slowatus, so will be slow, but. And I don't remember that she and Titus ever met?

As she approaches, she might overhear him murmuring a few verses, in a slightly sing-songy but no less clear voice:

" 'Come, fill the Cup, and in the fire of Spring
Your Winter-garment of Repentance fling:
The Bird of Time has but a little way
To flutter--and the Bird is on the Wing.'"

Nope! This will be their first time meeting.

Brienne hesitates, but Titus probably looks the most like someone familiar by virtue of era and culture, and so she inclines her head, almost bows, then clears her throat.

"--- my lord."

The Prince pinkduelist April 7 2011, 01:43:24 UTC
Utena had some difficulties with finding an outfit that was Arabian enough and also fit her personal androgynous style. But at the last moment she found a rich, jeweled white caftan in the plothole as well as some silk matching pants. Combined with sandals and some jewelry, Utena looks every bit of beautiful, heroic, Arabian prince.

She sits on floor pillows near the window, light gleaming off her.

Catherine spotted the poster and wondered just what it could involve? It doesn't sound very proper, but she decides to give it a go. The worst she could do is flee, if it came to that.

Which is when she spies the rose-haired figure in white, whom she approaches. "Excuse me, sir, but what, might I ask, is this place?"

The pink hair figure replies with a boyish, but noticeably female voice. "This is a Host Club, we entertain women and make them feel special."

Truth is, she kinda has no idea herself and is merely telling Cathy what Hunny told her.

Cathy blinks, not quite sure what this young person could be, but they seem polite and reassuring enough. "I see: I was worried it might be something improper," she admits. "I am rather unacquainted with the ways of the world. I am Catherine Morland of Fullerton."

After getting some help from Hunny to pick out his outfit, rich blue robes with a gold sash, Armand makes a nest of pillows and settles down to watch the door.
