If I friended you and you are curious as to how I found your journal and why I bothered to friend you, the reason is this: I find the subjects of discussion on your journals fascinating.  I once studied them!  I'm using the "friendship" online as a means of cataloging observations on the subject matter, so that I can follow the online discussions as a lurker.
