I'm actually quite a fan of 'The Crow' (only the first one! I'm still denying all following renditions exist.). The premise isn't really one I'd care for normally, but I thought it was really expertly done, and the film became about more than just 'tragic death = revenge' (though I won't deny that's a huge part of it). Well, it's also of the era for me - the soundtrack to that movie was the soundtrack of my life at the time - a constant stream of all the bands I love with these dark, gothic, almost batman-esque visuals (but without the campiness of the pointy ears and cape or the moral high ground ( ... )

Yes, that first movie has cult status, especially also because of poor Brandon Lee ( ... )

I loved the first three karate kid movies, but I know that's at least in part due to the fact the karate style in the films is the one I used to study, so when he's doing kata, I know those kata, which adds a new level of cool to the films for me that has nothing to do with the plot ( ... )
