OMG, Day seventeen? I will never be ready for Christmas.

I think it's supposed to remind me that I shouldn't be so worried about being ready for Christmas. (Ron Sexsmith probably didn't have to compete for the affections of a five- and three-year-old with approximately eleven billionty other relatives. Then again, he has kids, so maybe he does understand.)
Right. Tonight I promised my sister I'd come over and hang out, since her husband is out of town. Tomorrow night I have a Christmas do with the Weirdo Writers, and the rest of the weekend is mine to sew like a madwoman. More or less. I might get some writing done today at work; there's hardly anything going on there, so it's not like I'll have anything else to do.
