sinsense posts about yuletide prompts here, which made me think about my own less than stellar requests, which I submitted about .038 seconds after wondering aloud whether I should sign up this year or not.
Anyway, after reading her thoughtful post (and her very detailed requests), I went back and redid my own. Okay, fine, so I only redid my own because I discovered that Dante's Cove was on the list and somehow I had missed it. Finally a chance to get that pre-series high school angstfest! Huzzah!
But while I was resubmitting my other requests, I realized that by being specific, I might actually get someone to write me the Dead Like Me fic I've always dreamed of but never actually looked for so if there is one let me know. Specifically a fic in which my two favorite characters, Reggie and Mason, interact. So now I am super-excited for Yuletide, while also terrified of what I will have to write. I really tried to go out of my comfort zone with my offers this year. Last time I did that I ended up writing Dead Poets Society fic. It turned out okay, but it was a bitch to write.
Man, The Station Agent is on the list and I missed it. Finally a chance to get my hands on some Pining!Joe fic! But I can't redo my requests again. Well, maybe this weekend.
(I really need to remember to get in on fandom requests next year so I can convince someone to write me the Ella Enchanted slash. I can't possibly be the only person who's ever thought about it.)
