People on youtube keep subscribing to my channel, I assume because of my Dante's Cove videos. Which is all well and good, except every time I get a notification I feel pressured to post more videos. Fandom! Why so stressful ( Read more... )

You don't have a number to report animal abuse?? Wow. Who knew that AZ was ahead of any place else in America. If one could concider such things ahead.

It truly is shocking. I mean, we are the state that basically says, "You want to leave your 5 year old in the bed of your truck with no restraint what-so-ever? More power to you!" (Go AZ!)

Could you call the cops to keep a record of it? Maybe they could do something?

I could call them about the noise and they'd come cite the owners for the barking, but they wouldn't actually do anything, I don't think. It's not really a forward-thinking state in a lot of respects.

I'm afraid Tennessee is not very forward-thinking in terms of animal rights. We're very much a 'good old boy' mentality when it comes to these things. People think dogs are for leaving outside, and for some reason these people bought a cattle dog. Fucking morons. It's bored out of its little skull. Florida has a law about leaving animals outside in the heat, so I'm glad to hear AZ has animal protection laws too.

Well, it's not a crime here to ride around in the bed of a truck...no matter the age. You don't have to wear seat belts in the back seat unless you're under the age of four (I think that the car seat law is federal? Must be or they wouldn't make them do it here.) We do have decent animal control folk. At least we have something. I'm still comparing everything to CA...and it all comes up so sadly short. I miss CA. I wonder if it misses me?

You'll never see me admit this in real life, but I was involved in a dog kidnapping. Neighbours of my uncle kept abusing this min pin puppy and leaving it outside in the freezing cold. Finally one day my uncle shows up with this dog on my door step, telling me to find it a new home. You could see its ribs and it didn't know how to play with toys. We fostered it for a months and promptly found that pugs and min pins don't mix. We found it a new family four hours away. The point of this story... if the dog is abuse, find it a new home. GO RITA!

Hi! I'm back in a civilized land. Sorry to hear about the dog, though. Seriously, that is bad news. :(

I'm going to bed now, but I'm HOME, and that's a good thing.

I know some people who own a dog...they put food and water out for it and NEVER interact with the poor thing. I feel so sorry for it. ):
