I promise there won't be too much makeup talk. Mainly because I am not that adept at such things, and therefore would probably get something wrong. But I'm still hoping a little for the hot and sweet, so we'll see. I think mostly they were giving me problems because I was trying to start in the wrong place, and they weren't ready to dive right into the porn. They were right, as it turns out, because for as self-confident as Victoria likes to think she is, she really doesn't know what she's getting herself into.

I'm glad her reactions to Lex and Roger seemed in character. I was having this internal argument with her as I wrote this, something along the lines of, 'It's not actually their fault, you know' and then she'd remind me that her perception is different from mine and would I just shut up and write what she tells me.

She's a little scary. But again, she's right, so I had to swallow my instinct to protect poor Lex and Roger and just write what she was feeling. Because yes, Lex knew he was stringing Megan along, but I don't think he would have known what to do about it. Teenagers aren't exactly that great at letting each other down gently. And the thing with Roger really came out of nowhere, so we can't blame either of them for acting on an attraction they don't necessarily understand.

Shut up, Victoria.

As for the movie itself, I think the most logical (looking for logic in this movie makes my brain hurt) reading is what rainydaypsycho said below -- Victoria invoked Lex's name to get Stan to help her lure Roger into her clutches, and when Lex heard about it he was jealous. Although I love love LOVE the idea of broody, snarky Lex sharing a lab station with hapless-but-sweet Roger before all this happened. I love preslash. It's a weakness. Not that I'm encouraging you in any way.
