--Ladies posting about pregnancy: you are not "boarder line" with your high blood pressure readings. Your blood pressure is not shacking up with you in a B and B. I must have read that expression 5 times today and it drives me nuts.
--I am sorry I have been AWOL. I am just tired and lazy. But I still read and love y'all! :) I'm just busy staring off into space in a tired fog. :) I don't feel like I have anything to talk about because I'm busy rubbing my buddha-like belly and napping.
--My mom and my sister arrive tonight to visit. Thank God they are staying in a hotel because our apartment is not quite ready for prime time. Somehow between the time I get home in an hour and the time they might reasonably expect to come over tomorrow I need to shift the massive piles of clean laundry in the living room and rediscover this concept I used to know called "dusting". I vaguely remember it. I'm hoping it'll come back to me.
--My husband suggested not getting a Christmas tree this year because we had ours up until the end of January last year and it drove him crazy and we'll be a little busy at the end of January this year. It's not my fault our tree kept it's needles so long and still looked festive and cheery! I had to promise that we'd take it down after New Year's but I think I convinced him we needed one. I love Christmas and Christmas trees and decorating.
--I already have broken out the Christmas carols, jdnumber18, I know you hear me on that!
--vanillabean, I'm getting really into basketball this year, too, despite our Gilbert Arenas-less existence. We beat Dallas at home, how awesome is that?
--See, I've already run out of stuff to say. The baby shower is on Sunday. I'm kind of nervous, I feel all weird opening presents in front of people. That's weird, isn't it? It should be a lot of fun, though, and I'm so excited to spend time with my folks (dad is arriving Thursday night), my sister, my godparents, and my mother-in-law and grandmother-in-law.
