Yushima-Seido - 13

Then we went off on our own since her ryoubo had to go back to work. Which is where this photo comes from. We ended up in Ochanomizu, and this comes from Yushima Seido - one of the very few Confucian temples left. The architecture of the Taisei-den (main hall) is entirely in black. It looks eerie but has such a different and unique feel. The place was deserted for the most part... we ninjed into a building in search of a bathroom and I'm not entirely sure we should have been there... but... we are cool like that.

Also visited St. Nicholas Cathedral (Nikolai-do) but we missed getting to go in by about 10 minutes... Oh well, just means we will have to go back! Jon comes in 2 days... SAY WHAT... That is... wow. It really hasn't exactly "hit" me yet.

Me and Manda are on an adventure to an Edo inspired town called Kawagoe tomorrow - wish us luck and let's hope I don't get us lost. I'm tired, 12:25 and I declare it bedtime...

I'm really trying hard to post more often!
