Originally uploaded by venture_in_japan. I got home tonight around 8pm. I was officially at Manda's dorm for a full 22 hours... (but it was a lot of fun so I don't mind... although I admit I feel REALLY bad about passing out this afternoon!) It was a lot of fun - after hanging out with Canon before they head to Okinawa, we grabbed a quick dinner and I rushed home to pack for a long night. Why? Hina Matsuri celebration, what else? I know, we were totally a day late... but drinking on a Saturday is somehow better.
So after lots of sake, cookies from Manda's mom, and random shellfish like those Hokkaido fish you eat whole and snail looking things called tsubu, I woke up with a mild headache. But we had a good time. Manda's dorm manager is a RIOT, and we met a new girl named Seki who was adorable.
Takarazuka tickets = failure. Damn you Japan and your obsessive fandom. But all is not lost because lining up at 6am on a weekday to get a day-of seat doesn't sound too bad at the moment... especially since Yahoo Auctions doubles if not quadruples the prices of these tickets...
Well... At least I'm home and can get a nice full night's rest and cuddle up with this very yummy cup of Hot Cocoa.
