I hope this whole mess turns out to be the deaths spasms of neo-liberalism. Rest in pieces. May the system which rises from neo-liberalism's burnt corpse actually be based on giving a fuck about other human beings. Here's to the good times! Here's to the better times! Here's to the times when government oversight prevented raw greed from tanking the economies of the world's industrialized countries! I hope all y'all can keep your jobs through this. I hope that after we're done being carried along by this tsunami of stupidity that liberal political theory can give the boot to liberal economic theory. Huzzah and good riddance!
Which reminds me, you people all need to vote. Not voting in this election is a crime against yourself. I don't see any of you out there slitting your own wrists, so that must mean you care about yourself and your surroundings. Not voting on November 4th is like cutting yourself. It's like having unprotected sex with someone who's confessed to having three sexually transmitted infections. Not voting is fatalistic and irresponsible. So go vote! Show our leaders that you personally care. Add your voice to the call for change: the status quo cannot be allowed to remain! Vote! And get your friends and families to vote!
