Sketch dump!
So that the top post of my lj is not one that is full of my whining, here's some sketches I've managed to churn out!
I felt the need to make a serious PL drawing after the fun I had doing the one for the layton_exchange community at Christmas (it's here for anyone on my f-list who hasn't seen it). Anyway, this was supposed to be some sort of family portrait posing type thing with an older gentleman Layton and teenage!Luke and Flora. It's needing background, of course, but that'll...come...later. And why is Flora so hard to draw, sheez. I like her hooker boots shoes, though. XD
I know Layton looks weirdly cropped out. I ran out of space, gimme a break. |||Orz I'll add in his leg when/if I colour it.

Character design for Mr. John Avocado, whom I believe I mentioned in an earlier art post (to make fun of his name XD). I like his expression on the hatless!headshot. He looks like a scoundrel, which he is. =D I'm still not sure about the cape/cloak thing though, but he needed something more on his upper body. Meh. Will revisit later.
And this is Avocado's young counterpart, René Desjardins. He's French Canadian IDK WHY I guess I decided I wanted a French Canadian main character...or...something. Since I've been assimilated by the French here as it is. XDDD Guh, he's supposed to be older than how I drew him here. Like 16-17 instead of freakin' TWELVE. D8
Ignore the lolplz face. A classmate contributed to the sketch.
Um. There's slight gay from now on, so turn back if it ain't your thing. Nothing major, though, jus' fluff and wangst. XD
Sean (back) and Yuki (front) from Imperfect. They're one of the canon couples of the story but I barely ever draw them together. o_O So here's some angsty man-hug.
This amuses me way more than it should.
Moar Sean/Yuki. This pairing needs more attention from me. D: Even though I think about this story constantly, the actual writing of it has been on stand-still for a while. I only manage to write it in short bursts. -_-0
And finally, Chris (left) and Jing Xu (right) from The Art of Living, which has made absolutely no progress plot-wise. I need to stop making new stories but then Chris is all like "RITE ME A STORY 8D" and I'm like "NO, U HOR........................................OKAY, FINE". But I mean. Chris and Jing are so kyute. For srs. ♥
There are straight characters in the story, fyi. They just...haven't been written yet. But I assure you this one is not all about gay, which is refreshing and frustrating at the same time, idk.
Aaaaand nobody cares so I'm going to stop rambling about my own characters now.
Mood-wise, I've been doing better. I don't feel like smashing things at every moment, so that's good, I suppose. I need to buckle down even more to get all my work going, especially Exhibition Project stuff. Need to forget about the stupid proposal grade and just make art. >_< Still worried about driving, though. My first real lesson is tomorrow. TT_TT
WHATEVER I'm going to go play Bayonetta now. Carmen needs to kick some angelic behind.
