Thanks, Willie Colon, but not many can love a Gypsy. I;ve been traveling across country and found that Philly wass alright. I dig the vibe but it's basically New York-lite.
Bused into NY today to see my doctor and submit old paperwork. It's a 90-minute drive and it's only a dollar if you purchase it online. The moment I spoke to my NY friends and family about Philly being like Brooklyn, someone mentioned I should move to Brooklyn and bus into Philly every week for UPenn. So, there is a bet. If I can find a place/share in BK by the end of this weekend, I will attend UPenn (not likely).. Which is insnace. Travel across country, visit a slew of cities, to end up moving to another borough. Crazy.
But, damn, if I am not happy yo have some decent stewed goat. MMMmmm.
Side Note: This is how you know you've have lived in Washington Heights, NY (aka Platano City) for too long:
Friend: Did you hear about a prostitution ring in your hood that got nabbed?
Me: Which one? If it's madrina, I'm mad. If it's the one in the 150's. she deserved it.
Only in NY, kids. Only in NY.
