General Question.

Ok, so I just had my friend Laura text me and tell me that she called off her engagement to long term boyfriend Josh. Being the romantic I am, and it being so close to Valentine's Day, I kinda think that's a tad harsh...but I totally understand how when something no longer seems right that you should do something about it.
She told me that she did a self evaluation and no longer thought it was a good idea. Well, better that you see that before you get married rather than seeing it in retrospect 10 years later when your marriage is falling apart at the seams.

There's never a good time to tell someone it's over, but the romantic in me hates when it happens on or near a day dedicated to love and expressing love towards someone. I know that somewhere, someone will be dumped on Valentine's Day...probably just as many people as those that start up relationships.

Which leads me to question, Is there a good time to say "I'm sorry, this isn't going to work...you're just too much of a bitch/bastard" I like duality...and since there's a day dedicated to love, why not a day dedicated to hatred. They say the two are akin to each other.

And why don't I get Valentines!!! My roomie's gotten 2, I've gotten...nothing! I think it's the same duality. I got something and she didn't now she's getting stuff and I'm not. Oh well, I have an awesome "present" coming to me. Spending time with those you loves trumps chocolates anyday.

On a more amusing note...a joke (that's bad...don't blame me)

go to the ends of the earth for her.

How to Impress a Man:
