Ok, flight is booked! I really like Air Canada, they show you something like 5 days before and after the day you want to leave to see if there's a price difference. I was thinking about leaving on April 30th, which would have cost $154, but thank god they have that comparison, because the next day, May 1st, was only $119! Huge difference, so big savings to me :) although, of course, the taxes/fees were an extra $50, so my total was $172. Doesn't seem too bad though! About the same price as a 1gb iPod nano!
This makes it seem extra real! I've got to start thinking about my bags and what I'm going to pack. I get 2 checked bags and 2 carry-ons (not including my purse, if it isn't too big).... and I'm sure I'll need them all. I'm trying to figure out if I should bring my rollerblades or not, hehe... might be awkward. I think I'm essentially going to be bringing.... everything. Hey, I helped Brad pack for 2 years... so this should be easier, but we'll see. Thankfully I'm not going somewhere crazy, so I don't need to stock up on things like deoderant and toothpaste like Brad did.... many things I can just buy when I get there.
This week kinda sucks because I've got 3 lab exams (ugh chordates and inverts) and Brian's parents are coming in on Monday to visit, so I won't be able to talk with him very much (altho this timing probably worked out for the best, because I really won't have time to do anything other than study this week). Brian's a loser and wants to introduce his parents to me over skype or something... anyone have a crucifix I could borrow? ;) gotta impress the Catholics. (altho Brian's mom seems to like me already, even though I don't think I've ever met her.. hmm)
