Steve is a moron.
So Steve finally gets home last night and I go upstairs to talk to him about the phone bill. This is our conversation:
Me: "Hey, do you have the phone bills from last month and this month?"
Him: "We didn't get one for this month"
Me: "Okay, so you just have the one for last month?"
Him: "I don't know. I can look for it, but I don't know."
Me: "Well, how are we supposed to pay it if we don't know who made the calls?"
Him: *shrugs~ *mumbles something~ *goes back to watching tv~
Me: "Well, what about Claire? Since she's not here what are we going to do?"
Him: "Uhh, we'll just pay them without her and she can pay next week."
Me: "So you're going to pay her share?"
Him: "No, I just won't pay one of the bills at all and he share should cover that bill."
Me: "Um, isn't that a bad idea since they're all final notices?"
Him: "No."
Me: "Okay, but if anything gets cut off I'm not paying the reconnection charge."
So I go upstairs this morning and I see he's written on the board all the bills and just decided we should all split the phone bill. Which means basically he has no idea where it is and is too lazy to look. He wrote that we'll "figure out later" the long distance charges but somehow I can't see that happening. Oh well, it's only $24 each for the phone bill so I'm not going to bother protesting paying for other peoples calls. What an ass..
It appears I have finally become sick. I've had some cold/sinus issues/sore throat for like a month now but I woke up this morning feeling like I was run over by a truck many times in the night. I went to my first class but upon realizing that the room was moving and I could barely keep my eyes open I decided to forgo my Gender class. I'm hoping I'll start to feel a little better soon and then I can use the extra time at home to try and get my two papers done. Only 3 more weeks of class left :). I have a feeling they'll be the longest three weeks ever though.
