Natalie : Mummy, today when we had free time me and Isabella took the pencil shavings and put in her sharpener and cut cut cut....
M:: It's Isabella and I... so is Isabella your special friend?
N: yes, but we keep falling out with each other and arguing and it's stupid to argue...
Hmmm...
1. It's nice to know that the kids of today still do inane things like play with pencil shavings;
2. I thought her sentiment that arguing is a stupid thing to do quite wise, for her age; and
3. I was somewhat blown away by her appropriate use of the phrase 'falling out with each other'.
