☇ Third Key
[ Nothing seems out of the ordinary or any different from any other day. Sitting on the steps of his hut, Hagrid was keeping himself occupied with a small project of his own. With what looks like a tall piece of wood he was busy carving something into one side of it. But instead of humming some nameless tune while he worked he was perfectly silent save for the occasional grunt of annoyance as he worked.
The first major sign of something being wrong however is when Godric came along, the half-giant shooed the creature away in a gruff tone. The hippogriff stared at him and clicked his beak, clearly annoyed by the man's behaviour. But Hagrid didn't appear to care and just waved the animal off. ]
Away with yeh-- don't go botherin' me now, m'busy.
[ But apparently the hippogriff wasn't having any of it and nudged his arm. It only earned him a sour look from Hagrid as he shrugged him away. ]
Look yeh stupid animal I got no time to be bothered so get a move on!
[ And before the hippogriff could decide whether it would be more appropriate to head butt Hagrid or bite his arm to see if it would snap him out of it, he was already up and heading for the door of his hut. But before going inside he propped the tall piece of wood he had been carving onto against the side. As the door shut behind him it was easy to see what it said for anyone who would come by and visit:
GO AWAY!
... Something was definitely off about today. ]
