Tony* Jani's brother was delivering one of his art installations in the nearby area and killing two birds with one stone decided to sort our a number of things in Jani's life. So he picked me up while he was at it, at 10.30 or there-abouts.
Her new room was larger and overlooked a gentle mature graveyard with plenty of wild life in and only a few granite gravestones almost invisible in the back ground. They had stuck a birdfeeder to the glass of the window for her. Her new automated water bed especially made for her was much larger in all senses and she looked comfortable for a change.
Jani looked a lot better, her skin shade was good, her water retention in her legs, the blue tinge had gone, and the rough skin on her legs had been moisturised. She was also in this world not any other right up until we left for the last time about 6pm. Don't worry she didn't have to put up with us all day we were back and for sorting things out, or rather Tony was I was just keeping her company when she was awake enough.
She was concerned that she was getting medication that had copper nanoparticles in and was being poisoned by it. So Tony and I questioned the staff and they brought the creams and medicines for us to check there was no copper in them. There wasn't and then we tried to reassure on this. A medical friend of mine did however say that some heart medication does give a metallic or copper taste in the mouth, which may have sparked off her worry.
Although she has had movement in her left leg it has only been when she has been trying to kick the 'monkey' off the bottom of the bed. When in this world she is adamant she doesn't have a left side. This makes her very floppy and it is impossible to put her on the toilet. They are making her a commode and have taken measurements for a specially built wheelchair. However she doesn't see the need to be co-operate with anybody, which makes it very hard for the staff but they seem to have endless patience with her.
It is however very upsetting to see her this way and several times I had to have a break from her and sit out in the waiting area or in the visitors 'cafe'. An area they set aside for visitors to make their own drinks.
We did take breaks, and had an all day breakfast in a quaint Old English Tea Shop, they had a huge selection of wonderful cakes. Tony and I decided to have one each and cut it in half so the other could share.
She has lost weight and that's a good thing when you are tall and large and the female staff are nearly all Asian and are barely 5 foot tall and very slim. It takes at least 3 of them to move her when they are trying to get her comfortable.
When we left at 6pm, we headed for Avebury to meet up with a few friends who live there. To be honest they had been expecting us to be there much earlier. A lives in a nice house just off the main circle with her children. She is a healer and pops in often to try her best, but as she is nursing a broken shoulder isn't able to do any healing but I'm sure that her visits help anyway.
T is a witch from Jani's coven and a shamanic healer of a different sort. After we had a friendly chat she invited us to her house for supper. She's half Italian so we had far too much of a gorgous pasta dish. Her house is dead centre of the main circle and it's foundations are made of the old standing stones. In fact her basement is her own private ancient circle. Now for those who may be worried about people destroying ancient momuments to build houses out of. This house was built many hundreds of years ago, at a time when the stones were seen as 'evil' and a convenient building material and many of the stones were being destroyed. The house not suprisingly was the covenstead of the group of witches there. Most of the rituals are done in garden but occasionally when the weather is really bad or they need the earthiness of the stones, they do their rituals in the basement, I was invited to go down and see the stones but the steep steps down to the basement were made from more massive ancient stones. So I declined the invite as although I was offered help by them both, I knew I would not be able to get back up again.
T told us about her work as a Shaman and as Tony is an athiest explained her world view to him and what training she did to become a witch in the old tradition (we aren't talking Wicca here). Tony illicited a lot of information by not undermining her beliefs, just asking questions when they occurred to him. Then I asked her about 'soul parts' and psycho-pomping. Most of what followed would have been over my head had I not read Moonvoice's Wild Speak's journal on the subject. Tony was impressed I think, although he wouldn't agree to this world view he felt it was a sympathic one. Tony asked if T would help Jani regain her lost parts that seperated when she had her stroke. And if this would help her regain a sense of wanting to get better, which we all believed had been lost. T said that as she is too close to Jani emotionally it would be too dangerous for her own health but recommended another who she had nothing but good to say about them. Tony decided that Jani would have this healing, that even if the normal world thinks it's nonsense, its something that Jani believes in and as she does then it would help.
I got back home at midnight, totally exhausted but too wound up to sleep, so didn't go to bed until an hour later. Then my sleep was very disturbed I had nasty dreams then I nearly always do when I have visited Jani now she is ill. So awaking in the early hours of the morning and didn't get back to sleep again.
I was like a zombie all day yesterday and although online a bit was not able to do complicated messages. I am feeling a lot better today though. Although Jani is inside my head all the time now.
Tony* is a scultor who works in glass, his most wonderful pieces are Scottish type stone circles made in glass. I have tried finding his website but I keep getting some old American actor. Tony G Roberts.
