Wellies
I've had a busy few days, celebrating my 57th birthday and getting wet. Several friends have taken me out for seperate meals and I have a few booked for the near future.
Wellies or Wellingtons = galoshes.
Anyway I was having a slap up meal with Paddy today and he was telling me of his interest in one of my friends. They have this thing going where each will tell me that they're interested in each other, but always find an excuse when ever the other asks them out. I was telling him that the lady in question (a Scots lass) has beautiful dark blond hair that falls past her waist. Paddy has only seen her with her hair up so wasn't aware of this. "Oh!" he says. "A womans beauty is in her hair. I can just see her now, in her sexy underwear, her hair falling down all around her and her wellies!" "Wellies!" I said, "What on earth do you mean in wellies?" Well it turns out that the sexiest thing a woman can wear according to Paddy is wellingtons! He said long boots also do it for him but wellies are the best!
I'm sorry but I laughed so much I nearly choked. Then the questioning started. "What colour wellies?" I enquired. Black was preferred, green was a no no, unless there was no option, but any colour would do the trick. I'm now to enquire what size her feet are!!! lol Oh he is so funny and on great form today.
