Summer Time Update - Questions for the Parents

mrdreamjeans I have been meaning to post and have tried to keep up - but sometimes its hard.
Things are going pretty well for me - the job is still of a challenge - doing two jobs for the price of one - but hope that changes soon so I can have just one main job. I will be switching from doing social work to being the database administrator for the State of Kansas and their HIV database. A whole new world of things to learn - reporting, maintaining a database, working with end-users, problem solving to name a few - but excellent for the resume! I am really learning a lot and doing a pretty good job too.
Hause and I are doing well - he has rented a space in a house that sells antiques and other items with a friend of his from work and seems to really enjoy doing it. They went crazy at first hitting the flea markets, garage sales, estate auctions and other shops to get things to put into their room. They have done pretty well so far - I am proud of him and his adventure!
For fathers day Hause and I are going to take my dad out to dinner - I got to thinking one evening while trying to go to sleep - what would I want to ask my father (and for that my mom too!) - what about their life haven't I heard about? So I got out of bed and wrote down my thoughts - give my parents a list of questions to answer. So far I have some up with about 66 questions that I am asking them to answer. I am going to have them answer the questions - then I am going to write them up and bind them and give them to my sisters for Christmas. My dad has had a rough couple of years health wise - and I feel this is important to get written down to keep.
Gas has been draining our resources big time. About $100 a week on gas - I wonder where it is coming from - what isn;t getting paid. Oh well its just money....
Well time to hit the hay - 5:20 comes early. Hope everyone is having a great summer so far.
