Spring has Sprung

It seems that the smell of spring is finally in the air.  It was a nice weekend - we had the windows open and aired out the house a bit.  Nice to get the stuffiness out and fresh in.

We have been staying busy spring cleaning and doing little projects here and there.  John has taken to painting the kitchen for me (I hate painting!) and we cleaning from top to bottom and then took out some of the old stuff and put in new cocks.  So we have a cock kitchen - full of roosters and chickens! (get your mind outta the gutter!)

What once was our dining room is now the office and animal room.  We purchased a corner desk and put the birds and the bearded dragon in there - all in once place that we can close the door.  We never used the dinning room when it was the dinning room so we thought - office.  We had to go wireless at home so now the office computer and the desktop are wireless - with the main cable modem in the guest room.

John then decided that the old office upstairs needed to be turned into a guest room - like last week! So he painted - chocolate brown and got some new furniture and bedding and created a wonderful inviting guest room.  He still amazes me after all these years together!

We went to the winery in Aviston Il the other weekend with some friends and had a nice time. http://www.hiddenlakewinery.com/ a hidden gem with some great wines - and only about 20 minutes from our place!

Work is getting more challenging - bringing on a new client with about 35 end users and creating all the user names and passwords and checking and rechecking them and the codebook and such has been fun and keeps me busy - in addition to doing the intakes for new and reopened clients.  Not a lot of down time during the day - very unlike my old job where i had a lot more downtime.  I am enjoying what I am doing though - one end user training is down and two more to go in May and June - more to prepare for.

Well time to hit the hay - hope everyone else is enjoying the nice weather.
