Around Aspen
Last week was the 25th annual Food and Wine Classic in Aspen, a huge event that we did not attend, but we enjoyed the fireworks on Aspen Mountain which kicked off the event.
Lots of people and dogs in town....this guy had some special breed of dog, this lady was fawning over them and took their picture with the proud owner. I have never heard of the breed but they look like small huskies.
On Saturday, the first farmer's market of the summer was held in downtown Aspen. I bought some cherries and apricots grown in Grand Junction, Co which is a great climate for fruit growing.
