wow - all of that is making my head spin! I've been working out (cardio & weights) twice a week for a month now - and I still have to take advil the day after. Today my knees hurt really bad - and they make a poping, squishy noise when I go up the stairs. Is it supposed to be like this? Am I being a wimpy whiner or should I tell my trainer lady to ease up on me a little? I tell her when and where I hurt and she watches me closely to make sure my posture is right when I use the weights. But just damn, am I going to be sore ALL THE TIME?

Also, I'm trying to consume only 1300 calories a day instead of 1500. I'm a starving, sore, sleep deprived lunatic right now. Not at all pleasant to be around.

Have any tips on how to drink more water?

Everything he writes about make so much more sense than most every other diet/exercise book that I have read (and I've read a bazillion. He actually has me eating between 2000-2800 calories a day (which I was eating about 1350-1500/day) and that in itself is so contrary to what I have been doing FOREVER. But he explains why. And it makes sense. PLUS his workouts are only 3 days a week, last for less than 3 minutes and other aerobic exercise is optional. It sounds insane. Check it out and see what you make of it ( ... )
