Offered: Critique of original fiction
I will critique up to 10,000 words of original fiction, plus query letter and synopsis and/or any other thing that you need for a submissions package. If the bid goes over $150, I will critique an entire novel of up to 150,000 words.
I am a published author of YA fiction (A Love Story Starring My Dead Best Friend, 2010) and a YA librarian. I am most familiar with the requirements and trends for YA, but I will critique in any genre. I tend to focus most on high-level issues like plot, structure, characterization; I will do some line editing but not copyediting.
Because of an upcoming book deadline, I cannot promise delivery until February 1, 2010, or March 1 for a complete novel.
Minimum: $40.
