Surprisingly, Bakura's early evening had been quite productive. Phone calls and even a visit; and Thief said he was so anti-social. It was a little sketchy, even to Bakura. Lately, he had been quite satisfied with staying curled up in his room; maybe all he had needed was a little push in the right direction. Of course, that push cost him 8092 yen. Oh well; it wasn't his money to cry over. He could afford it. Mm, and he'd have to find some again, and soon. But for now, preparing for her.

Since he stayed in his room, it was the only place it was truly messy. Everywhere else was pretty much spotless, surprisingly. Of course, that could've been due to the cleaning lady who came once a week more than Thief's tidiness. He had even made sure to turn on the lights and light the weird candles that decorator had bought for the rooms. Bakura didn't really get them, other than they smelled good-plus, if lit, they made smoking the occasional cigarette all the easier. He guessed that was some sort of a plus.

He sighed, flipping on the TV so the apartment wasn't so quiet. He didn't really know what he was watching; it didn't matter. He wasn't paying attention. Instead, he simply reclined across the couch, hands placed comfortably behind his head as he stared up to the ceiling, just waiting for the knock of the door.

In all honesty, he wasn't sure why he even wanted to see her. He had nothing important to tell her. It had simply been on a whim and he'd just go along with it as such. If anything, it was always entertaining to mess with her and see just how naive she truly was; it was all in good fun. Plus, she'd be a nice change from the TV screen-maybe. He'd decide that when he actually saw her. He closed his eyes and smirked slightly, mostly because he felt...too good.
