Well, the first thing I want to mention is, I finished! I finished I finished I finished! *does a jig*. Oh yeah…What did I finish? My book. I finished reading the second DragonLance book. I can now start on book 3.
I have to say though, even knowing now about who is evil and who isn’t, I’m not sure where to place Mina. Because Mina is just too complex for that. I feel I know what her role/place is, but saying that much would give away too much and I think people should read to make their own decision.
I have to say though, in light of certain events, I was very surprised by the outcome, and some of the character who did and didn’t make it. The battle for Qualinost was amazing. I loved what I read there and I have to say, I wanted to shed a tear or so for the Queen Mother. Just wow on her role. Bravo and Encore even!
I know I convinced Terin to try this trilogy out and he’s enjoyed it. I sincerely hope others will try it too. Especially Tara. I know it’s a new genre and her money is stretched somewhat thin, but it’d give us something more to share and talk about and I think she’ like the change of pace and the whole different writing style, etc.
Work was a lot better today. Went by at a decent pace, still felt like I got stuff done and had fun talking with my good friend/co-worker. As has already been noted by some, she even got her own LJ because of me, which is of course, wonderful on my part.
Now, I’m hoping she’ll post the story of water almost coming out her nose thanks to me…
Came home after stopping by Wendy’s. Had a truly wonderful convo with Alecto, with whom I don’t get to speak with much. We talked about some pretty decent thought provoking things and other than my best friend Bryan and my friend at work, I don’t really get to talk like that, so I enjoyed it immensely. Hope we can talk like that more.
Not a whole lot going on at this point. I wish I had a longer entry and I’m sure there’s stuff I’m not remembering to put here, but it’s late, so forgiveness is divine, and so am I…(meaning, you can forgive me now).
