SGA rec: Missed the Saturday Dance

Missed the Saturday Dance by zoetrope NC-17, McKay/Sheppard, World War II AU. Includes stories, art, audio and video. Unbelievably amazing.

Words cannot contain my complete and utter joy. Everyone and their grandma has already recced this but I'm not going to let a little thing like that stop me. Go read it now even if you don't like SGA. Or at least watch the trailer (YouTube). That ought to convince you. *grins*

Beautiful video trailer and art, clever audio and a good story. And oh, documentation. I don't think I've mentioned my bulletproof kink for authentic looking documentation but this story has really nailed it. I'm just amazed at all the talent and creativity it's taken to achieve this. Go over there now. You'll love it!

_____________

Years later, when asked, John would say that his abiding memory of those months in England was rain.

The kind that hammered messily against his window in the morning, the sneaky afternoon sort of rain which seemed light and yet soaked you through in seconds, and the heavy summer showers that fell in straight sheets and had you running for the nearest cover.

Oh. Also, the first time he kissed Rodney, he tasted of rain.
