"Yeah." He responds quietly.

[Sunset Mood]The low evening sun cast long shadows over the small camp as Alan stepped out of his tent and stretched, digging his knuckles into his back as if he could push the lingering pain out of his old bones with a newer, sharper one. In the fiery red glow of the setting sun, the landscape was especially beautiful. Flat and dry, with oddly shaped outcroppings of rock and large, sand-colored boulders dominating the landscape. Not a tree in sight.
A few feet down the path, Billy pushed his tent flap back and waved at Alan before shrugging into his jacket. It was only the beginning of summer, and while the air was still warm even this late in the day, it would cool down rapidly once the sun had set ( ... )
