Great weather for igloo-making :)

*Pokes head out of snowdrift* My neighbor took a few post-Snowmageddon pix of our DC-area street, which was hit with about 28" of the not-so-fluffy stuff in the past week.

That's so sweet that you're feeding the poor wee birds,

Those "poor wee birds" were pretty darned aggressive. You should've seen them puffing out their breast feathers (to keep warm, I'm told) and attacking the holly tree en masse. One neighbor called them the "Robin Mafia." *G*

As for the snow, Dawn, honestly, I have *never* seen anything like it. We beat the record for DC's all-time-highest seasonal snowfall by more than an inch, and that record was set back in 1898. Plus, it was for the WHOLE season, and we've still got five weeks of winter to go. AND it was measured from Reagan National Airport, which really got much LESS snow than most other places. (Maryland got socked with 36-40" of snow; it was so bad that 30+ cars got stuck for a whole night in 12-foot snowdrifts around Frederick, MD Wed. --they simply couldn't reach the poor people until morning!)

*Takes your warm thoughts* Ahhh, that feels better. :D I'll just keep thinking of how much fun you all are having partying down with the Saints, and I'll be fine in no time. *G*
