(The poor birds must've been famished. Our massive holly tree is now completely stripped bare of every single red berry, and we gave them bird seed, too.)
I'm from the North, so I'm used to brushing off DC residents' complaints about winter weather. Not any more. *Shivers* I'm impressed that grocery stores/gas stations/etc managed to stay open even during the worst of the onslaught. And now we can all spend the next month or so waiting for it all to melt. *Pours hot cocoa, waits for spring*
