Seriously, Academics: you have so much unnecessary blood on your hands. In anything like a just world there'd be mobs of outraged Occupy Academe (or something more stupid-sounding. These are hoi polloi) turning campus fields and ivied halls into disease-ridden cess-pits instead of strugging cities

If they liked reality they wouldn't have crawled into the ivory tower in the first place.

I'm actually good with keeping them all in academia, it keeps them out of the way of people trying to do useful work. We just need to 1. stop paying attention to them and 2. reduce the wages to starving in garrets levels again.

This. Why do we do that? I mean, I work with them. I have yet to meet one, sweet and wonderful though some can be when you get them out of their heads, that I would want in politics.

Also, they all think they are underpaid and this......is where I should stop before I get in trouble. :)
