I Should Probably Go To Bed.
Oh my god. I just went to check out LibraryThing's Early Reviewer's book batch for October, and I hit on this description of a new YA:
"A Great and Terrible Beauty meets Cassandra Clare in this spellbinding fantasy."
The first thing that shot through my mind was, "That is the worst endorsement ever." (Then I thought, "What, you mean plagiarized?")
...Also, I was social today, and it actually went well. I even got an invite to go watch True Blood with some other grad students on Sat. Wow. I'm actually a little surprised. Everything else has been a clusterfuck up to now, so why wouldn't lunch go badly too, you know? (I will have to get up to speed with TB, because they're on S3, and I never got past the first episode or two of the very first season because I didn't like Sookie or Bill. That blond Skarsgard gentleman is really, really pretty, though. ^_~)
