Sean Bean Media Sharing Comm Question/Poll--
You know, given all the hair-pulling-out I've been doing in order to get my hands on the pilot of Faceless, I've found myself thinking about an issue I revisit over and over again. (Last time was when I was trying to get my hands on Sharpe's Challenge.)
Would a locked comm for sharing Sean Bean-related media be useful? Something like viggo_vid, except maybe with sound files included?
Now, I don't have the resources to host all sorts of videos and things on a permanent basis, but I'm thinking more along the lines of one of the episode comms, where most sharing happens via YouSendIt, RapidShare, BitTorrent, etc. I know I could certainly use a main comm that'd list sources for media beyond pictures, and I'm about this far away from creating a comm with that end in mind. My only hesitation is that I am not a font of videos. I have some things, but not an extensive collection, and I'm running on a pretty old, creaky system which belies my lovely high speed connection, so I'd need help in the form of community participation and probably at least a few people who are on the ball with regards to collecting/providing Sean Bean media.
Essentially, I think it'd make our lives easier if we had somewhere we could reliably go to help each other out.
So. To gauge interest after that long ramble, how about a poll?
